Dr. Catherine Ikard is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and the Neurology Clerkship Director at the Tuscaloosa Branch Campus of the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Neurology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has won numerous teaching awards, including the UA Faculty Recognition Award for third year teaching, the UA Patrick McCue Award for fourth year teaching, the UAB Aurgus Award for Best Clinical Educator, and the UAB Leonard Tow/Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Award.
