Deborah Bradshaw, MD, FAAN

Dr. Bradshaw attended Wellesley College as an undergraduate then earned her medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She completed a residency in Neurology at Boston University and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology/EMG at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center. A member of the Neurology faculty at Upstate since 1990, she has served as Neurology Clinic Medical Director and as the Residency Program Director from 2006-2022. She founded the Gilbert S. Ross Leadership Academy at Upstate Neurology in 2019. She serves on the Neurology Program Review Committee for the ACGME, the Graduate Education Subcommittee of the AAN and the AAN RITE Committee. She is the first female full Professor at Upstate Neurology and she presently serves as the Associate Chair for Education. Her primary interests include neuromuscular disease, physician wellness and leadership in medicine.
