Kenneth Tyler, MD, FANA

Dr. Tyler received his BA from Harvard and MD from Johns Hopkins and trained in internal medicine at the Brigham and Neurology at MGH. He did a postdoctoral fellowship in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Harvard Medical School. He is currently the Louise Baum Endowed Chair and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has served as the ANA's Treasurer and Vice-President and became the 7th Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Neurology in 2022. Dr. Tyler is an internationally recognized neurovirologist and the author of nearly 400 articles and related chapters and reviews in the field. He is a fellow of the ANA, AAN, American College of Physicians (ACP), Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA), American Academy of Microbiology and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS); and a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI) and Association of American Physicians. (AAP).
