Ludy Shih, MD, MMSc is Associate Professor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine. Her clinical expertise is in diagnosis and management of movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonism, tremor, and gait disorders, including deep brain stimulation (DBS). Dr. Shih’s research interests focus on the relationships between brain aging and cognitive and motor function (tremor, gait, and parkinsonism) in diverse healthy and clinical populations, using quantitative motor and cognitive assessments, neuroimaging, and other biomarkers. She is a member of the BU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and a Framingham Heart Study investigator. Her prior roles include Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, and Medical Director in research and early development at Biogen and Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
