Advanced Practice Providers and How They Fit into Neurology

With increasing and glaring deficiency of Neurologists across USA (especially outside of large metro areas), ACP are increasingly being used to fill the gap in care. It is likely that trend is going to accelerate. As neurology leaders we should think about the best ways to create qualified ACPs for the job. The presentaitons will discuss the landscape of neurology practice in Urabn/rural part of the country and involving ACPs in vqrious setting of inpatient and outpatient genral neurology practices as well as in specialized programs. Training of ACPs, Neurology fellowship for ACPs and Financial viability of ACP model of care will be highlighted.
