Gwenn Garden, MD, PhD trained in the Longwood Neurology Department, completing training in 1999. She was a faculty member in the Department of Neurology at The University of Washington form 2000 to 2019 where she directed several research resource programs, taught Neurobiology of Disease for 15 years and served as Vice Chair for Education. Garden has been H. Houston Merritt Distinguished Professor and Chair of the UNC Chapel Hill Department of Neurology since 2019. She also co-directs the Duke/UNC Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, established in 2021.
