Joe Bonner, PhD

Joe Bonner, Ph.D., received his degree in neuroscience from Drexel University College of Medicine where he studied regenerative medicine approaches for spinal cord injury repair. Following a postdoc at UC, Irvine, he joined NIH as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow in 2016 and became a program officer with the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR) at the Eunice Kennedy Shrive National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) in 2018. Dr. Bonner's portfolio includes research focused on physical rehabilitation after neural injury or neural disorders.
