Michael Miller, MD, PhD

Michael Miller, M.D., Ph.D. is a physician-scientist and neuropathologist, serving as Assistant Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He earned his MD and PhD from the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine and completed anatomic pathology residency and neuropathology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and postdoctoral fellowship in neuroscience and genomics at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Miller’s research examines the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases at the single-cell level, with a focus on the somatic mutation in human neurons. Dr. Miller’s research is supported by the NIH/NIA, Doris Duke Foundation, and BrightFocus Foundation.
