Pooja Khatri, MD, MSc

Pooja Khatri is a Professor of Neurology at University of Cincinnati, Director of the Vascular Neurology Division, and Director of the Stroke Center at the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute. She co-directs the National Coordinating Center of NIH StrokeNet, the primary infrastructure for conducting multi-center stroke trials supported by NIH. She has almost 20 years of continuous research funding from NIH, as well as funding from industry. She has broad experience in therapeutic development from conception to post-marketing phases. Her specific expertise includes acute stroke, secondary prevention, brain health, biomarkers of recovery, and trial design.
