Rebecca Matthews, MD

Dr. Matthews is an associate professor of neurology at Emory University School of Medicine, where she has been the neurology residency program director since 2016. She is passionate about recruiting and supporting diverse residents; more than 40% of Emory neurology residents are underrepresented minorities. Dr. Matthews currently serves as the Chair of the AAN Consortium of Neurology Program Directors and was the recipient of the 2021 AAN Program Director Recognition Award.
